Join us, as Pilot. Restaurant's Mal Hanslow and Exhibition's own Tim Scott collaborate on a special degustation menu.

After working together at Automata many years ago, Mal and Tim have been friends ever since. Over the years, their careers have taken them in similar directions. Mal is currently the executive chef and co-owner of Canberra's Pilot. Restaurant, and his latest venture, Such and Such. His contemporary take on Australian nostalgia references his upbringing and the varied flavours of Australian cuisine. Mal takes inspiration from the many cultures he is able to explore through his friends and colleagues and it is this which makes his cooking so unique.

There are no rules when it comes to Mal's food. "Never boring and always delicious" is the key to his success at Pilot., receiving two hats from the Good Food Guide for the last two consecutive years, two Gourmet Traveller ACT 'Restaurant Of The Year' awards and a finalist for 'Australia's Best New Restaurant' in their founding year.

Mal and Tim will join forces to prepare a special nine course dinner.

Optional alcoholic and non-alcoholic pairings will be available, as well as our full drinks list.

Due to the nature of this event, we will not be able to cater to any dietary requirements or allergies.

Tables of two will have counter seats for this event. There will also be two tables of four and two tables of three available.
